The Life Of A Dropout: Day 8

People, people. Remember how I told you bad always comes after good. Well think of this as my gloating and "I wish I was wrong" speech. Today my Father said that if I continued to disobey him, he would take away my phone and Tablet because they were "his property" (the phone yes but the tablet no). So the question is: What am I going to do (and) Does this affect my plans Well you can definitely bet that I'm not going down without a fight (no matter the scale) and thank God my theme for this year was "WAR" (with a couple of sword, skull and shield emoji's). I mean, how does he want me to manage my store and blogs (including this one)? How does he want me to remain in my sense whipe not doing absolutely anything? How does he, want me to continue learning Japanese or continue communicating with my Japanese friends (of which I have none)? I don't know and he doesn't care (because, as usual, if he doesn't see you with a book then no matte...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 7

Today was extremely, somewhat, probably good. I met a brother of mine, which we will be addressing today as "A". I chat with him frequently and I have asked him his view on what has been happening in my life and thankfully he had somewhat the same answer I thought he would give (I can't really say, I'm not in his head). He said "Me... I don't care whether you're schooling or selling fish or maybe stripping.... everybody's got his own life to live...."  and then he sent a really long message which, not that I wouldn't want to write, but, it's a pain. Oh what the heck. I can at least summarize it. He said he didn't care whether you gave him the "I don't care" attitude (which he was guilty of giving everyone) or what people thought about him neither does he have time to worry about someone else's problems when he's got his own life (and problems). That's basically the summary. I was vaguely happy to hear this...

The Life Of A Dopout: Day 6

Siblings, the weak point of any older brother and or sister. No matter how much they annoy you, betray you and whatever else they could do to you, you still forgive them. (although there are a few things that I personally cannot and or will not forgive, particularly, Betrayal). So today I will tell you about the reaction my siblings had and the way their current treatment towards me. I am the first of four (through my mother), after me comes H (a seventeen year old girl), followed by M (a soon to be ten year old boy) and then finally S (a five year old girl). I am Nineteen today (June 17). So, the reaction of of H, the eldest of my younger ones was quite annoying. She was the primary course of all the malice my Father showed towards me. ANY story she fabricated and told my dad, he would believe (without caring about what I had to say), which in turn made me more distant than I already was. And it still happens till date. Any who, she kept bearing about theush when I asked her some ...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 5

Parents. A real pain in the ass sometimes. Mine are an even bigger pain in the ass. Probably the worst. My dad is a "I don't really care about you if you aren't the best" kinda guy and my mom is the "I can't control my temper or any and every other one of of my emotions" person. This combo is really really dangerous for anyone. But enough of that, let me take you to the juicy part. Their reactions when I was suspended and the roles they played on the road to this very day. My Father Well as my mentioned in a previous post, my dad labeled me and when I told him I wanted to take a break and reevaluate myself. When I returned from the most previous, 2017 second semester, he asked me if I was going back and I said "no". Part of the reason why I wanted to reevaluate myself in 2016 was actually because my school fees was really expensive and some shitty relatives kept saying stuff like "I he the only child, why spend so much on him", ...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 4

Welcome back. Today I'll tell you about the 2016/17 session in school (since this was the pinnacle of my current situation). After I started this blog and got shot down by google adsense a couple of times I switched to affiliate marketing, and come August I returned to that dead mans hole of a school. My roommates this time didn't have any problems (this is my 3rd semester in that school and because I got depressed in my second semester, I was put on probation). One of them had a gaming laptop and it sometimes found its way to me a couple of times (which I would gladly take advantage of and game from night till morning [because it was always late at night] and play Mafia 3). Since this was a new session and a new set of students were coming in, I met someone I knew (from high school). He had a Lenovo Y50 (and unknowing to me it would help me in my fourth semester). The first semester of that session was a breeze. Met new annoying people and created new experiences and althou...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 3

Ah, the future. One of mans greatest desires. To see and or peer into the future (probably to see what is in store for them or what nonsense they have brought upon us). Today I will be telling about one of the tremendously annoying sentiments very common in my "people", in your "people" and ultimately in "society". And that my friends is the sentiment that "Your future is secured if you've gone to school. Now I do understand that not every atmosphere has the same view about "dropping out". But where I come from, it's a big deal. People go to school to satisfy society and in the end society doesn't satisfy them. The mere thought of studying continuously for years (even with a good result) only for you to graduate and reach another hurdle. Job seeking. Honestly speaking, if I didn't know of so many people that made it with blogging and or E-commerce, I probably also wouldn't try. And that is exactly the situation. Everyon...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 2

What to talk about today. Ah. My school life. Fitting in wasn't easy for an 'introvert' like myself, and being that we were only allowed to dress corporate or go home. The school was downright screwed and whats more they believe that they can become one of the top ten (10) Universities in the World in 10 years. Anyhow that's their stupidity. A lot of things happened when I was there though. I resumed Gaming and Anime. I had this dude on my floor, Alex, he watched, and had, A LOT of anime. At the time I was only watching Naruto. And I had a really fat really strong roommate and his name was Daniel. He was the 'importer' (if you will) of our games. My laptop wasn't that bad so I managed to play games like Devil May Cry, Call Of Duty and FIFA 14. Not to impressive and not too disappointing. First semester was really fun and interesting all through but when second semester came it was the end game. A friend of mine got an MSI prestige, I was the primary user ...

The Life Of A Dropout: Day 1

History Being a dropout. Depending on your atmosphere and the type of people you have around you can be the worst thing. So what is the cause of people "dropping out" of school and why do people see it as such an intense taboo? Well for me. I'm from a third world country (Nigeria) and to me, trying to better your "future" by school ALONE is ridiculous and I will tell you why in a minute. Most people dropout for whatever reason and it might be similar to my reasons but do not be mistaken. I do intend to resume school but at a later date. First I want to tell you about my atmosphere. In Nigeria (and every other society) most people are absorbed in the general stereotypes. In Nigeria, so far as you have a certificate, it doesn't matter if your jobless and broke. People go to school without knowing why they go to school and at the end are unworthy of their certificate. Plus they can't even solve a simple problem. People are too ignorant to bring about an...
